In the framework of the “European Chips Act”, the European Commission (COM) launched the “European Chips Survey”. With this survey, COM aims to understand the reasons for the chips’ shortage of the last two years. It aims at both the players in the microelectronics industry and the downstream user industries. By participating in the survey, these stakeholders help to better identify future challenges in microelectronics and, thus, contribute to avoid bottlenecks and dependencies from value chains outside Europe.
